I am a 22-year resident of resident of Roslyn Estates formally of the Upper East Side of Manhattan for 10 years. I was born and raised in Flushing Queens which was like living in the TV show “The Wonder Years” where all the neighbors knew one another and when a dad got a new car all the other dads came to check it out. I lived in Forest Hills for 13 years and got to know many areas of Queens quite well, especially Lemon Ice King of Corona which are best Ices.
I love living in Roslyn as it is small and very quaint. Yet we do have several attractions such as the Nassau Museum and Christopher Morley Park. My kids have loved living here and made wonderful lifelong friendships. I have been fortunate to assist in the school district as a parent member for Special Education and have worked with a number of parents to advise them as to what services are available to them should their child require assistance to thrive. I am proud of the work I did to ensure a quality education for everyone. My family has been actively involved with our temple and always sponsor community programs such as the annual coat drive, the interfaith men’s shelter in Glen Cove where we bring hats, gloves, underwear and personal hygiene items for the homeless on a regular basis.
I have been involved in real estate for 5 years. I love it: each day is different. I travel to Queens, Brooklyn, Nassau, Suffolk and parts of Westchester. Prior to that I was in Sales and Merchandising for a large apparel corporation for many years. I am so grateful to have forged close relationships with my clients. Having their trust and respect is imperative to me to satisfy their requirements.
My family and I love dining out and we are always trying the many fabulous restaurants close by such as Kyma for Greek food, 388 for Italian food, and Centro Cuccina for amazing fish to name a few. We are fortunate to be so conveniently located to both the city and Eastern Long Island. We will often take a ride to Southampton for the day to have lunch and shop as well as drive to the wineries. It’s only 15 miles to Manhattan so we go in for a show or to explore.
